We stayed here for a week with the family. The rooms are great 2 queens and a SOFA bed which was fabulous to spread out in the room. It wasn't a small room. 2 TVs in the room were perfect for the kids to watch their own shows when needed. Breakfast was a let-down, for the week we were there, the options were the same every day. There was no refresh of breakfast. The coffee was there but the location should get a smart-coffee machine for variety. Milk and banana ran out multiple time. The one person work was responsible for clearing, cleaning and restocking breakfast which was a shame. We did not visit the pool as our days were packed. The location was great, it was right off the highway and local restaurants were good. Beach was not too far away. As a Marriott Gold member upon check in, there was not a welcome. Staff didn't seem to be bothered to wish upon checking. Multiple time walking past the counter, staff would be on their smart-phones. They could do better at customer service.
Great hotel! Beautiful view! Area includes lots of iguanas! Very quiet room. Much appreciate the no slam toilet seat and the squeak free bath door. Room layout was very nice! Everything worked in the gym. I don't recommend the undercooked sausage links at breakfast. Would love to see half and half in a caraffe instead of those little packets. All in all an above average Fairfield!
This marriott was very nice. There were a few things that could have been better (rooms are slightly out dated and need some minor repairs). The staff was wonderful. They helped us with extra towels, our deliveries (forgot some things!), and it was a fantastic breakfast.
The entire hotel and rooms were super clean, they had a great breakfast selection, and all of the staff I ran into were really nice! I would definitely stay here again!
The staff are great and even called my room after check in to ensure I was comfortable. The woman who works the breakfast area is so nice and helpful. The highlight though is their resident rooster. You can hear his wake-up call at breakfast. It is so lovely.
Nice hotel and location for sure. But the rooms had a bit of a humid smell that went away once you turned on the AC. Otherwise they were fine. As for the hotel breakfast, it's pretty standard. I hate to nitpick but I really actually just noticed it after another guest pointed it out; the employee running the hotel breakfast always seems to pack it up ~10 minutes earlier than closing. And 20 minutes before closing, standard things like eggs have run out and not been replaced. Look, when breakfast ends at 9, that means that the food can start going away at 9. I wouldn't expect them to refill a tray of eggs at 8:59 am right before breakfast is over but I sure would expect it at 8:40.
Tyler was accommodating and gave really good fast service in this hotel is very quiet and peaceful. What a really great stay! They also can recommend a lot of restaurants for delivery or a short Uber away!
The ROOSTER IS AMAZING! Very nice hotel with great staff and a Rooster that lives outside. It’s really nice to have a “mascot” for a hotel. Makes it feel special and stand out.
